Currently have had the gti now for a month and has been sitting in the garage except on days when i have got myself a 48 hour permit and done the rounds sorting out bit and bobs .

Has anybody here had a situation when the fuel pump stays on while the ignition is on but the engine not running ? in the past on my mk2 gti and mk1 16v the pump would only come on for a few seconds...
