thanks Umai. I have torqued them to 90nm. I read different places don't use the zinc spring washers, but just flat high tensile ones. i have both. Just hate to have something happen with a loaded...

Hi. I have a VW OEM towbar (VGA 803 921 G504 ) for my Mk5 Golf.

What is the torque nm to fasten this towbar please? It uses M12 hex bolts, but I'm not after torque specs for M12 8.8 hex bolts...

does not need to be OEM, can be aftermarket as long as ride height & firmness not lower or firmer than Mk6 GTI & no softer or higher than Mk5 Mk6 2.0TDI

So on the vacuum, non-electronic EGR BKD TDI would the CEL throw at all? Is anything else affected?

i did not think to notice that. Most obvious now though. I wonder what the deal is. Most likely happened before he ziptied the hose

What is the update on this? I too have read about blanks, full delete kits, plugging the vacuum hose + extra hose (plugged) on EGR diaphram.

Hi. After a towbar with removable tongue for the Golf. 75kg download is fine as i don't want anything over-engineered. OEM ADR with working wiring loom please, but on a tight budget. I'm in Brisbane....

I checked out Orange, but all their springs are lowered. The lowest i'd want is original GT TDI spec.
