I doubt I am acheiving that, as I can't get enough fuel to the engine at high rpms.
The setup is for good fuel economy and no smoke, which works great...

The downpipe has to do a quick downwards U turn and then head straight down. We modified the linkage on my mk1 to give the downpipe a bit more space.

Sounds like a great project mate! we need lots of these sorts of conversions! And much better to start with the 1.6 than the 1.5 for a turbo becasue the oil is fed onto the bottom of the pistons,...
