Found a fix for the analogue on my 2007 Eos - put 245/45 tyres on my 18"s and now the speedo is 100% accurate and my car looks hot as well!!
I had similar squeek intermittently from left and right - coming from near elbow joint near rear window top corner - complained to dealer & they 'tightened a few things up' and have never heard it...
Having owned 2 DSGs now - both diesels - this 'problem' exists only in the minds of those who cannot understand that their gearbox is indeed a 'manual' but with two little german men in there...
I have found that making sure your pressures are on the high side for a few months seems to get rid of the noise.... the noise mine started making at around 20,000kms was a whining noise loudest at...
I have 2007 Eos 2.0TDi with DSG and the diesel does more than just hill hold, it will drop the clutch on even a very steep hill at idle and chug up the hill if you want it to. there is always a...
Guys, I have the best of both worlds - the Eos with the torque of the V6 (Exactly the same!!) and the frugality of the 1.6 petrol.... why would you disagree with the convertible of the year 2008 and...
The likely explanation is that although there is relatively bright sunshine in your face from your eyes' point of view, the light sensor sees things differently as it looks at the level of ambient...
Noticed this thread about the magic sliding arm rest. I always thought that the sliding bit was because some goose designed the handbrake in a weird place that meant that your elbow needed to bend...
As a DSG user for the last 3+ years, I have NEVER had any problems with hill starting or in traffic or parking... WHY? Because I have 2 feet and a gentle touch with your left toe on the brake while...
just discovered this long thread and read through all your problems.... I
currently have an Eos TDi and sold my 21/2 yr old 60,000k 2005 Golf 2.0TDi to buy the Eos. Both cars do around 25-30k/yr...
illegal, immoral, fattening, definately NOT cool.... saw an Eos with mudflaps the other day too..... definately UNCOOL.. only allowed on 1.6 trendline golf in grey!!
Pretty car attached..... bloody love it and goes like stink now - up to 12,500ks and just loosening up the diesel.... should chip it as soon as I can convince the missus.....
I have had a Golf 2.0TDi with DSG and fell in love with it. The DSG is especially brilliantly matched to the diesel engine with all that beautiful torque.
Now, I have the EOS with the DSG also in...
I am happy to offer my Wheat Beige Eos Individual for the photo shoot if the dates are right...... please keep me posted and I will do everything I can to be there!

As a previous owner of 2.0TDi Sportline DSG for 2 years with the 17" Sport Conti 2's, I can vouch for the tyre noise. But, wierdness has now occurred...
Have changed Golf over to 2.0TDi Eos with...
Slightly off topic - relates to my Eos - but it came with the Euro mounting plate the same as on the GTI in the previous reply - the dealer had already drilled it into the chrome and the holes were...
interesting... the interior is the Eos dash combination...... probably just whatever fits in the prototype??
$650 for Individual with Xenons in suburban brisbane with AAMI - Lifetime Rating 1 driver x 10 years + $400 excess ...... includes discount for other insurance with them as well! Just make sure it is...
we uber-cool TDi Eos owners could just chip the beast - needs a little boost compared to my prev TDi golf!... just running it in and then chipping time.
I was offered $1k for 1 yr ex warranty.....
Gotta love having impeccable taste - cannot disagree with Wheels' taste!
Regarding the warranty thing - I chose to purchase the extended warranty that gives you 5 years unlimited Ks for $1450 - a...
Check this out - love the pipes and the body kit - do you think I can do that here??

Spoddy,
I have just sold my 2.0TDi Sportline at 50,000kms (2 yrs old) and had some of the options activated by the dealer early on - especially the auto door lock when you...
I found this australian distributor of Krytox lubricant/conditioner for the Eos' seals - a hellofalot cheaper than VW's $95-180 claims....:
Krytox GPL105 liquid is available in a 50 ml jar @...
