I do like the styling... just such a shame they've increased the price compared to the value for money you could get an 81tsi + premium sports pack + glass roof for previously.
Pics Here, taken by Dom (and another friend) as I drove his 182 (my god that car sticks... and I was driving like a massive girl giving it was my first time in the car, plus it wasn't my car)

For those talking about torque, straight line performance, space, seating, or interior build.... you're all missing the point of the 86. Yes, it's not for everyone. In fact, it's aimed at a VERY...
Having experimented with intakes on my old 9N3... the pod filter certainly made the most noise (actually, a HELL of a lot of intake/spool noise), but it suffered horribly from heat soak in stop/start...
Ended up buying another house and a little girly hatchback instead, now in the midst of planning a casual weekend circuit racer (probably based on an S14 chasis, seeing i won't care if I put one of...
If budget wasn't a factor in the choice then definitely everyone would go for the VW.
But the simple fact is few companies are competing with Hyundai for the best price-to-quality ratio these...

Hi Guys,
I picked up a USB to VAG-COM cable ages back but never got around to giving it a shot before I sold my Polo. As a result, I'm throwing it up for sale.
Never used, so I can't provide...
Ok, cool!
I'll check back closer to the day to see if there are available spots :)
If you relax the rules and are happy for the Frenchie to come let me know ;)
Yeah, prices really have taken a hit since the 6R... especially for cars without leather.
I thought I was super lucky to get $17.5k for my '06 with leather/sunroof and 60k on the clock when I sold...
Cool, let us know how you go.
Make sure you have a friend handy to help you as well... as you'll need someone in the car giving it a little gas to prevent it from stalling while running the...
From the graphs I've seen, it's an increase across the entire rev range.
You certainly don't lose power anywhere after a retune.
As for quicker than a standard MY11 STI/EVO... a reflashed car...
The 1.8T's are capable of handling up to 400hp on stock internals (at least the MK4 GTI internals were) so long as you've got cooling and fueling up to scratch.
Not to mention K04...
1. I have no idea
2. Any engine can benefit from regular upper engine cleaning (around every 15-20k is good). That said, make sure you do it just prior to an oil change, as factory oil breathers...
ANY engine can benefit for decarbonation if it has carbon build ups (which anything over 100k will likely have at least small deposits here or there)
Cleaning the valves on a direct injection...
Hrmmm.... very tempted to see how the Clio goes. As per usual for a French car, I'll decide closer to the date in the event the car is broken again :P
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of the family barges.... BUT...
I fail to see how your 77tsi with it's blistering 9.7s (from redbook) 0-100km/h has a remote hope against a small child on a...
Don't do it through the main intake pipe, as it will mean you will need to spray past/through the throttle body which is really bad.
The line marked in the second pic looks suitable to me.
Check around the thermostat, from memory that is the common leak point most Polo's have.
Only fix is to get a new radiator :(

Still really can't tell from your photos. It's going to be one (or more) of the lines circled in the photo above, but it's simply too...
Those pictures are all far too hard to tell. I really need a detailed picture of the rear part of the plenum (near where the intake pipe joins, where most of the small hoses appear in the photos...
You get me a decent picture of the engine bay from top down without an engine cover on and i'll point it out to you ;)
Need a pic of the engine cover off and of further back in the engine bay, as...
EVO and Ralliart both have 'em as well.
That said, Ford have tried to develop its powershift to behave as smooth as a regular auto box, but with the economy of a DSG. It's a completely different...
