VW Australia have removed the higher spec headlights with the "Dynamic Cornering" feature from GTIs. Only the higher spec have the inner DRLs. You will have to buy a "R" to get these now.

See my previous post. You cannot get it to work as the new GTI does no longer sport the "Dynamic cornering lights"

Well, looks like VW Australia has managed to con their customers yet again. They have actually removed "Dynamic Cornering Lights" from the GTI and left it for the R only. Headlights are not mentioned...

Already played with it. This is for Car_Net, which is not available in Australia. Everything on-line must have a Car-Net account. It's totally useless here in Oz.

Firmware updates, as far as I know, are not available freely on the net. You need to have this done at your next scheduled service. Make sure you let them know you want this down ahead of time, pref....
