I'm still doing OK with my Tiggy, done 150,000kms and looking to buy a new one and keep this tig for family member. I've endured inlet manifold switch issues and VW tax implied a whole new manifold...

Looking to pick up a 2018 build TDI 140 Allspace Highline with Sound and Vision and Sunroof registered but real low Kms demo. As TDIs ceased production in 2018 and I missed a 110 TDI Comfortline with...
Checked with Panel Beater today whilst there on another matter. Owner said VWs are notorious for bad design (to break) and fail along with a few other makes. He said only way to replace the...
Thank Umai Naa except I just decided to remove the keyhole cover to manually use the lock and it seems to work OK, so it's just the remote solenoid action perhaps failing or sticking. I have no idea...
My drivers door lock progressively over 6 months has failed to release when unlocking from the Remote, with all other doors functioning ok. I put it down to typical VW design fault and wear & tear....
Hi Skoda owners, just bought a Fabia Wagon for my daughter late June, great car but friend has 2 Octavia sedans and one 7 years old has developed odd light warning issues with symptoms being:-

Thanks for your comments Dubber. We ended up signing for the Wagon with Prem Sports Pack and car was on the lot, not much MY17 stock around, so had to do my best haggling with dealer but didn't let...
Hi Skoda drivers, I'm a VW owner now moving to Skoda for obvious reasons (warranty & styling) and need a Fabia Wagon for my daughter and a dealer has one on the lot. I can make a grab for it but with...
I wonder if this is a big deal, I was hoping to buy a Golf Alltrack by June 30 so not sure if this is a big deal either?
This exact situation happened to my drivers side tonight, but the glass hit the ground....smash!
I'll expect a nasty price to repair it? Any ideas? Can the dealer do it competently or a panel...
AWD Haldex Oil expensive? My Tiguan only has it replaced every 60,000kms - not a big issue in maintenance cost as I see it. Also tyre wear is much more even in Tiguan than the two FWD golfs we have.
Eight days seems far too generous, I guess they are waiting on a you tube instructional video from VWG or SKODA in Checz. (My service advisor told me the use these for training).
My wife demanded...
Anyone who wishes to join the Maurice Blackburn case you still can:
"Extension of time to sign Maurice Blackburn Retainer
Due to huge interest in these class actions, we have extended the...
Email Paul Gover from Cars Guide, I think his email that still works is Paul.Gover@bigpond.com or Paul.Gover@news.com.au with all details of your gripe. On Melbourne radio this week he was stating...
Well look at it this way, local dealers are taking a drop in commission as sales take a dive (temporarily). VWA have implied they will not discount their way out of this mess with new car prices. My...
With some knowledge of other class actions, I'd say MB would have claimants in categories and if any pool of money was obtained, the slicing of the cake would sort who gets what. So I would guess the...
Tomorrow the 27th November is the last day I am advised to appoint Maurice Blackburn as Lawyers in joining their Class Action.
So much is unknown considering the so called fix now released being a...
Mine failed at 100,000kms left me dead with battery light on, stranded as it got stuck open. Cost $2700 from memory but extended warranty covered the cost :)
So what's this talk on this blog...
No sign of Tiguans in the UK recall list I saw? Why is Tiguan and Passat models 2008-15 affected in Aust considering our EU 4 levels. What a world wide mess considering the huge variances in this EA...
VW have a very low customer satisfaction rate based on repairs costs, probability of breakdown etc. This already meant the better Golf gave way for Mazda,Kia etc sales so now the VW Brand is even...
This will trigger a running costs factor which would be the basis of any class action claim, COMPENSATION!
Volkswagon have a worldwide shovel and just digging them holes deeper, really stupid! But give the yanks their due, he did admit they screwed up, but now he needs to pay up......BIG TIME! Money...
Maybe someone with the backing of Toyota Australia as this is all about VWG trying to become dominant #1 in the world.
