SOLVED! It turned out the auto lekky was right. It was the RHR wheel speed sensor.

Thanks for all the tips guys. Sorry I've been absent for a while, I had a trip to hospital (all good now).
The battery is not yet 2 years old and it was the first thing I suspected but it tested...
Recently my B7 TDI had the dash light up like a Christmas tree and multiple alarms showing in the MFP. Restart and they go out only to come back on again. Often it stats with a quick jab from the...
Well... You got my interest Hillbilly. I even got out the manual and read it up, then tried the windscreen washers. And yes, the headlights got a wash too! I wonder what other neat features the...
No, it's just a blank and I've seen the front bumper off when one of the HIDs was replaced under warranty. No washers. Either that or I've had the car for 7 years and haven't yet found them which...
Interesting. Here's a photo of mine. No washers.

My B7 has xenons ex factory. They self level but there are no washers. You will also have to change out the DRLs as the xenons come with LED running lights built in.
Hey Sloanie
If you're interested, I have a DTUK chip that I'm thinking of selling. It's been on a 125kw TDI. Love it! PM me if you're interested.
Wondering if anyone knows how to dismantle the driver's side sunvisor.
I keep my fuel card behind the slide that covers the mirror as it's the only easy to access spot that keeps the card from...
Mine stopped working in early May. I booked it into the dealer for yesterday to check it out and removed the DTUK chip (installed about February) on Tuesday in preparation. Low and behold it...
Mine also had the Dummy thing until the map base was updated. It now only seems to say Dummy when it gets confused (maybe talking to itself?)
Frankly, the navigation is so poor I've...
No, I meant it covered 1000 km last week. It's done 20,000 so far.
Thanks all
The car is only 12 months old, it covered over 1000km only just over a week ago (and the Stop/Start was working fine then) so the battery should be charged, it is an AGM battery, and...
Has anyone had their auto stop function stop working? Mine was fine a week or so go but now refuses to operate. I have tried using the switch next to the selector and it seems to turn the function...
Same here, whenever I enable TMC I hear the "ding", disable it and it goes away. In fact, "ding" is about all TMC does as far as I can tell.
I'm insured with NRMA. I mentioned it to them and they said that provided it's legal, they don't need to know about it. As far as I know it's totally legal.
I put a DTUK chip in my MY13 125 TDI a few weeks ago. It's turned the car in to a rocket ship and if I just drive it as normal has reduced fuel consumption by better than 10%. It should be the same...
By all means pursue the camera, I reckon its one of the best options you can have on a car. I wouldn't bother with the genuine satnav though. It's rubbish; difficult to programme and not all that...
I have had the same experience with my 125 TDi, which is almost 12 months old; it's now happened twice and only on 1 of those occasions the weather was hot - that same time was also after a run from...
I always adopt the practice of starting the engine and then putting my seat belt on. Its only a few seconds but it gives the oil time to start circulating around the engine before putting it under...
Thanks Brad
I wasn't aware pf CVWC and I'll certainly check them out.
Thanks for the info guys. I might check out the Remsa pads as I'm rather tired of the dust too. What about the disks? What's the recommendation for when they're shot. Yes, VCDS is needed to...
My main concern is why the B7 is wearing the rear brakes down at more than 4 times the rate that my previous B6 did.
Had the 15,000 km service today and was told that the rear brake pads are already down to only 5mm. The front is at 10mm. I'm astounded as with my previous B6 Passat I still had more than...
You could try http://www.strutspecialists.com.au/. I got new struts for my pathfinder from them and they gave good service at competitive rates.
