This will look hot in Mk1/2/3, not sure about quality though, it is made in Philippine.

Rota's are the example people use when justifying how replica wheels fail.
Google "rota failure" and you will see wheels that have sheared off at the hub etc.
No one has anything good to say about them from what i have read.
They may be better now but i would still be wary.
I think thats a really old picture and quality has improved loads. You see a lot of Jap cars running Rota's, seen tonnes of Impreza's & Skylines with Rota Grids on them.
I toyed with the idea of buying a set when i was in the market but decided i couldn't live with the second teir reputation & replica status. Problem is as soon as you mention you run Rota's you get a lot of people turning their noses up, which makes their re-sale value low.
Regardless, you'd have to buy a legit idiot to buy Rota RB's over Superlites.
Performance Wheels - Superlites
Sorry but Rota are ****ing **** wheels.
I too was thinking of getting some Slipstreams bcuz they look dope but dang they are weak.
friends dont let friends roll on rotas...
super light + cheap as chips will never = strong.
They've got to be doing some stupid **** to have that happen.
Yeah, how do you get it up on jackstands wit ha ****** wheel like that?
Yes genuine expensive wheels crack and bend too...
just saying
I reckon rotas are sweet as. They offer looks, for someone who cant afford the real deal. And not all people are fussed with it being ORIGINAL or REAL, most couldnt give two sh*ts.
Personally i like the rims, and i know a few of my friends have them, and havnt had any problems (yet lol). For the rims to be breaking or shearing, youd had to be an idiot and definately doing something wrong. This, is all IMO !
you would think if that had really happened when driving you would see alot more/any damage to the actual car around the wheel well
You can buy & run Rota's or replica's if you like they way the look. Just don't mention it on the interweb.

etc, etc
LoL.
I wouldn't buy rotas. Sure they look cool. But I'd rather stick it out and find something genuine
Most of the sheared Rota pics you'll see on the net are of race cars or ones that have been tracked. If you're just using them for street use, I honestly can't see anything like this ever happening, but if they're going to use any replica rims for racing, then I think they get what they deserve.
All wheels will get damaged under extreme abuse there is no doubt about that.
High end light weight wheels are not particularly strong. Just look at all the people that have had damaged OZ wheels.
I think the difference seems to be a good quality wheel will bend or crack instead of snapping like these things seem to.
There's some guys here in Bris with rota grids on their Subies and they look great. I'd buy them if I was just driving round the streets.
