Weird sound from Man GTI.
Was driving my GTI earlier & spiritedly accelerated off at the traffic lights in 1st, it was a little bit slippery as it had started to sprinkle rain. the Traction light came on, the car did a little burn out and at the same time produced a loud 'pop pop pop'
I drive a manual & have an upgraded exhaust, it does produce overrun pops around 3800rpm.
I know the DSG does the 'fart' when driving but can the man GTI's do it? as Im hoping it was just the exhaust making the pops!
