Fog Light Assembly - same across models?

I've got a fog light on my GTI that's had the glass smashed and I wanted to look into replacement options.

I've noticed the assembly from the Golf looks similar... Does anyone know if they're the same?

Noone, I know where to get them. What I'm asking is whether they're the same fitment as the Golf ones.

Anyone with a mate who owns a golf that would be willing to let you take measurements of their foggies?

mate use oriental parts,bought mine through there.

The reason I'm asking is not only due to needing a new one, but also for the purpose of opening up other options/variants of foglights. IE: projector.

What side?? pretty sure they do ill check now.

The one I have out at the moment is the driver's side, so I can provide measurements if need be, as it's sitting right beside me! lol
