How do you do the Flapper Mod on a MKV R32?

Afternoon guys,

Ok so I am looking at doing the flapper mod to my R32 this afternoon. Could someone please shed some light on how to do it. Also, would it be possible to install a switch in the car so I am able to switch between stock and flapper. I know it's been done before.

I would like to release all of that aural pleasure of the stock exhaust before I decide on getting a SuperSprint Non Res :P

To tell you the truth I honestly didn't know that you have already done the flapper mod. What are your thoughts?

worth it...but not as beneficial as having an aftermarket system

I just cut the black rubber hose under the rear valance on the left side and put a fishtank airhose joiner in there that I blocked with a bit of stuff.
I think it makes the car sound a lot better at urban speeds :)
AND both exh tips get dirty :banana:

I would like to do the ''Flapper Mod'' soon, but I keep seeing so many different ways and responses in completing the task. What's the best way to do it, so it can easily be reversed back to stock in the future.

What are the steps?

What tools do I need?

Just kink it and ziptie the kink... don't have to remove or plug anything... worked for me:?

I didnt find enough length of hose to form a kink.

I just pinched with a pair of pliers and got my brother to rev the thing. Didn't notice a difference so left it as it was.
