Protecting painted wheels?

Hey all,

I've finally got round to fitting my freshly powder-coated white BBS RS771 (or RXII - whatever you wanna call them!) and I've noticed even after about 150kms of town driving there are already *tiny* stone chips on the rear wheels (mainly drivers side). I know it's pretty much unpreventable but is there anything I can put on my wheels to stop this happening - because in a week or two they're gonna look like crap, it's pretty annoying!

I've heard of a product called 'wheel guard' but can't find an Australian distributor for it - it looks like it does what I'm after. Other than that will a Wheel Protectant stand up to stone chips or am I gonna have to just leave it and buy some touch up paint for when they get even worse :(

Because of the heat from the brakes i don't even know if you couldPPF wrap them so i think you are just going to have to put up with small scratches/dents and repair/repaint occasionally.

Powedrcoating is meant to be stronger than paint but i don't know how true that is.

You need to stop the rocks hitting them in the first place. I used heavy black neoprene to make some wide mudflaps for the front, exactly the same stuff the rally guys use.

6000kms down on the new wheels, and only the tiniest chips due to one dirt road expedition which was taken at speed.

Being black, most people don't even notice them.
