my 01 2.5 man tdi d/cab ute needs better brakes....as a sparky into air-cond installations, i have to carry loads of tools;equip and materials and the odd 100kg a/c or two.(Mean tare=2700kg.) I live in qlds sunny coasts hills and need an upgrade ! I put on new disks 12 months ago and have had them machined twice already and they need doing again.(handy having a retired machineist...with a laithe...over the road) any thoughts????

Brake pads too hard??
You could try running softer pads.Pads wear instead of the disc.

Try these guys they are in Brisbane and appear to have a huge range of brake parts etc for VW,s etc GSL RallySport 1300 884 836 Howard
