What will this do to my exhaust note??

Hey guys,

As some of you might know, i have a 2009 Octavia 118TSI. since i have gone off the ECU flashing for now, i still have the modification bug so am now thinking exhaust and intake mods.

I am going to get the APR carbonio intake and probably stage II also (does this make much of a difference over stage I?)

And exhaust wise, i was thinking about removing the rear resonator/s and replacing them with hot dogs. what effect will this have on the exhaust, both note and flow/power wise.

anyone done this or can offer some advice on what the changes might be? I'm hoping it might open up a bit of exhaust growl and maybe some DSG fart/crackle.

The only change I can see is, you will lighten your wallet somewhat and turn a pleasant touring vehicle into a noisey annoying boy racer mobile. But its your car you enjoy it any way you like.
