Since becoming a veedub TDI phile and learning the general consensus of people on this forum that all diesel fuels aint equal, I decided to put a tank of BP Ultimate diesel in the old farm Toyota Hilux with a cattle crate permanently on its back. Its a 2.8 litre normally aspirated diesel which usually gets fed the cheapest around here, normal Caltex via a Woolies discount. The 2.8 diesel Hilux is well know for its lack of go and is probaly happier if you don't push it over about 90 k unless you have a tail wind.
And ,hey, it actually feels faster and punchier, seemed happier when wound up to 100-don't think there was a tailwind!
