My Cordoba wont go
Hi,
My cordoba broke down on the way home today and I'm not sure whats wrong ,
When i try to start it , there is a spark coming from the lead going into the distributor, and its not starting.
It did die on me a couple of weeks ago after i went thru some water which was only like alarge puddle during some heavy rain,
As you can tell I'm not very good with at finding this out for myself so I need some help !!!!

Air, fuel and spark at the right time and it will go. You mention spark which you should have at the spark plugs too, so you have it at the dis, check if you have it at the spark lead too, there is only 2 other things in thats in that food chain. Then of course what i mention above air fuel and spark at the right time and off she will go

from my experience if the eng bay is wet the main prob often is around the coil
the coil could also be failing...breaking dwn... dying
i made sure the lead from it to dissie is not touching anywhere else all the way down
keep a can of water repellant or wd40 handy..if wet; spray generously
also check any water that may have ventured into the dissie from that puddle ...clean & dry the cap underside also well
