Ben's mk2 gti

i know ben never goes on the internet so i thought i would make a thread dedicated to his mad mk2 gti!

It has a genuine zender body kit and wheels.

It was a genuine MK2 Gti UK golf that was tuned by Turbo Technics and has has a garret T50 turbo on it running 7psi...still through the k-jet 1.8 lt motor. This was a production mod from the factory. It came straight off the vw production line to then go and have it turboed and tuned.

hope you enjoyed i can get some of the engine bay shots when i see him next.

Nice one, another 3 Door, we need to do a count up on how many are in Aus.

I'd be interested to see what the engine looks like, a G60 is a factory VW Supercharger, i guess it has a small turbo technics turbo on it, would be good to see though .........

i think its a g60...or simmillar...i dunno i will get some pics of the engine bay when i'm around there next.

Nice, the full Zender treatment actually doesn't look too bad.

It's missing the...unique...front grille design...

Reminds me of my car when I got it (just a lot cleaner than mine was!!!)

Secondly TT did turbo kits for kjet cars, has nothing at all to do with G60's.

secondly i have no idea what turbo it is was just a guess.

This is a great looking car. Any chance of getting a engine photo of the turbo setup?
