One of the plastic wheels was cactus by the time we got there :D

Well both golfs were on their way out today. Silver one is going for parts due to major rust. Swallowtail is going to a mates place to have some cosmetic repairs and new engine/twin carb put in. He drove me back in his 1600 so took some pics. Looks good I think you'll agree.

The blue golf looks identical to my old one bar the wheels and roof racks before i sold it to Preen, brings back fond memories.... :rolleyes:

Well I paid for it but it belongs to my eldest, Jay a 6 year old cool golf collector he informs me. He calls it hotrod and what was once just a quick earner is now a member of the family. Bargain and will no doubt have thousands thrown at it...
