A premium sport shifter engineered for the Volkswagen enthusiast. This Sport Shifter has all of the features a performance minded driver requires. The finest materials, CAD designed, coupled with a short throw results in one extraordinary precision shifting system. This stylized precision shifter includes many of the key features found in race shifters including a stainless steel stick assembly, CNC machined aluminum lockout collar, a billet aluminum pivot and an aluminum knob with engraved insert. All of this combined with a simple straightforward installation provides a professional level shifter.
The air intake is 190 + shipping and the short shifter is 150 + shipping from the states...
Is there anything better dollar for value beyond these?
Carboni is expensive, aem is the same crap and I dont want a filter in the guard like a lot of the kits do...

man intake looks ok another option is the neuspeed p-flow intake :? maybe. and i would not bother with that style of short shifter, you can get the ones that go onto the gear box, they seem to do the job just aswell../.

yeah that looks like the B&M shifter that I wanted to get. i ended up just getting the shift kit for the box side of things which works well. I do want to get the B&M too just for looks. be keen to see it if you get it.

Here are the questions, the p flow, whats it worth and where do I buy from here in Aus...
As for the shifter..
I understand there is a shift kit to reduce throw from the gear box side..
I also understand the one I am after reduces throw from inside the cabin...
What is the differece in results?
Will they do the same job if the cut upto 40%?
Pro's and Con's?
With my old sti, all i could get was a shifter from inside the cabin... and that did the job.
I am confused from this perspective?
Thanks for your help.

hey guys... my lucky day, picked up a very cheap bmc direct intake air system... same crap as a cda....

nah, went into an Autobarn store, guy said they had it there for ages.... so i made an offer ;)
now time for a short shift, tossing between either a hpa or dieselgeek @ the box, or a b&m in the cabin... not sure which option yet...
