Passion Garage MK3 Coupe

So my Bora blew up and i needed a new car and thought id go backwards rather than find something new.
Nick and James had recently bought a mk3 cl and done a vr6 manual swap on it and i thought id grab it off them for a good price

So here is the mod list and a future mod list ( i will do a check list and add things and remove things as i get new parts and that )

Body
- Vr6 Tail lights
- Hella Dual Headlights
- Hella Clear front fogs and indicators ( we found them in japan )

Future Body
- New close door Respray in same colour - MK3 hot chilli red
- Voomeran Wide Body Flares/ Front lip/ Wing straight from Japan
- Votex Side Skirts
- Pop out rear windows if possible
- Rear USDM Tailgate
- Hella Clear twilights
- Rear Euro Votex Valance
- Painted Rub Strips
- Clear Front Quarter Indicators
- Small Mirrors
- Bonrath mono Wiper

Engine
- AAA - 12v VR6 / recently Rebuilt
- VR6 5speed box
- Full Magnaflow exhaust

Future Engine
- Turbo -

GT2860R

- Cams
- highflow fuel pump
- all supporting mods for the turbo kit

Suspension
- Koni Coilovers

future suspension
- KW Coilovers
- sway bars
- Strut braces front and rear

Interior
- Stock standard

Future Interior
- MK4 bora seats or Recaro buckets
- Short shifter
- boost gauges
- digital Dash
- Cage
- whole rear false floor with back seat delete

Wheels and Tires
- 4x100 Some type of race wheels got no idea what the brand is
- semi slicks

Future Wheels and Tires
- TSW venoms 17x8 4x100
- RPF1's 16x8
and well wheels will always come and go no matter what so that'll always be changing

Thanks brother hopefully i can work some magic and with some help from friends and through my job

Looking good and nice plans for the future. I like how it is a "sleeper" with the stock CL badge still in place ;)

hahaha i forgot that was still on there
i recently just got a mk3 GTI and vr6 badge from a bloke in the states so i might but the got badge on once the car is painted and finished

but yea defiantly a little sleeperish, with the CL badge still on there

Very clean, Where did you visit in Japan for parts? Heading back over again this year and keen for some MK3 goodies.
Also thought about going VR 5 stud upgrade?

Keen to see some work on this.
I helped with the head a few owners ago.
Does rear muffler still fall off the hanger?

Hey dude, we visited euromagic/voomeran in osaka and we got really lucky with finding some more little bits n pieces at Upgarage
but you never know man you could find stuff we missed lol
and yes i have thought about going 5x100 but i will see how i go, lots of cool wheels in 4x100 but if i do a brake upgrade il move over to 5x100 hubs

i think you might be mistaken with who's car this was
james and nick bought the CL from a guy in Sydney for cheap with a 1.8l auto in it ( bloke didnt know what he had ) james and nick bought a VR in the same colour and 4 door as a parts car for the vr6 and the box motor had been rebuilt as well, james and nick also did the swap on the motor and trans and was finished off by Matt at camden for the immo delete and driveshafts. so the car hasnt even been rego'd or driven properly since the swap was done and even since I've bought it, I've driven it twice and hopefully should rego it this week in time for vits, you coming dylan ?

When the motor was in the 4 door.

Yeah will be at Vits, hopefully you can bring the two door
