Get it scanned and fixed. Could be detrimental to the DPF.
No point guessing.
2007 model.....DPF????
check your brake lights are working.
If not, replace/repair brake switch.
Known problem
Get a fault scan mate. Without that it could be anything.

I may ask the question? why would brake lights affect the glow plug lights . Seems like the more technology progresses the more weird things happen .
Yep...does double duty on the T4 diesels as a 'check engine' light. Which is kind of bizarre when the only time I've seen it flash is when the brake light switch has turned turtle :facepalm:
Could be worse I s'pose...it could just dump the entire driveline into 'limp home' mode instead. That'd be fun.:banana:
