    Newbie 1st Post

    Greetings All,

I'm an Ex-South African who moved to Australia 3yrs ago with my family. I have always owned VW majority being the MK1 Golf, having South Africa being the only country manufacturing the MK1 til of late when production was stopped completely. I now own a '95 Golf VR6 and a '06 Golf 2.0 TDI DSG. I look forward to sharing ideas as well as learning from the many members. Thanks.

VDUBS are as common as Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon are on the road here. If you were to attend street drags you'd be amazed at the crazy mods guys do to their cars. Ever seen a MK1 Golf leave a V8 SS for dead 1/4 mile? Just makes you proud to be a DUB fan.

    I am from Johannesburg.
Had 2 Jettas in South Africa,1 Jetta in America, and now a Jetta in Australia.
The VW brand is very addictive...but we South Africans love our Volkswagens...and Toyotas.
