    Check out tirerack.com

I saw they had some pretty awesome BBS and OZ wheels available in the older bolt patterns (4x100?)

    Update.....

I can now get reverse and first when I actually want them
I replaced the the linkage bushings at the gear box over the week end, WOW what a difference..... I don't know how the last owner drove it for so long the way it was

next on the list is timing and CV boots..... then hopefully some cheap second hand wheels.

Then I am pretty well done for a while

Feel free to start a proper thread in the MK2 or project section.
The work you've done so far is a huge improvement, don't want to miss any of the work planned for it.

Great work you have done so far mate!
I agree with comments here- needs some nice wheels but I would save up and wait till you find some good ATSs or BBS's.
    Worth the wait
    Keep up the good work!

I got the bushing kit from the UK off of Ebay for like 9 pound plus a little for shipping all it was like $30 AU
also bought the alignment tool of ebay, made the job very easy, only took me an hour or 2
