Hi - our first post on this forum - we have been active on the UK Brickworks one for a while.

Anyway we are two 50 year olds from Wales who shipped our T4 from Southampton to Auckland in October 2009 for a year in NZ. We are about half way through and are now planning the next leg - Oz!
We intend to ship the van to Sydney in October 2010 for a year doing a slow clockwise circuit back to Sydney for exit in 2011.

Our blog has a few comments and links to pics from the trip so far and we would welcome any advice or feedback from forum members re our proposed trip to Oz.

Guidance on getting a timing belt changed in Sydney, availability of spares in Oz generally and any tips on rego, insurance and that sort of thing would be much appreciated.

Had a quick squiz at your blog, dunno what the problem with the younger generation is as there always moaning about getting old however you two seem to be doing it very well at the moment.
