Sounds like a lemon from the factory. Bad luck! As long as VW are footing every single cost and really looking after you...
Guys, i am glad to join this forum. My ride is a black R36 with many problems since i got it. firstly, water jet did not work for the main screen due to the power cord is not plugged. Few weeks later, the wiper's motor was broken down in heavy rain when i was driving. Few days ago, there's sound of KA KA Ke Ke i noticed when turing the steering. The dealer said the steering system need to be replaced. Now awaiting for the parts to come in 2 weeks time. Mine is only 2 months old, do u expect ?????????????????![]()

Welcome stanmak, it's sad to read these stories about such beautiful pieces of machinery.
IMO, I'd sell the car as soon as you get the steering repaired. My family's had a bad experience with a factory lemon and regardless of how many times you get it fixed - you'll spend more time at Austral... ermm.. I mean your dealer than you want to.
Good luck with it![]()

That is really bad luck mate. See if VW is happy to trade your car in for another one and what difference you'd have to pay. As maca stated, try and get rid of it, as sometimes more problems will crop up. However if the trade in is too low, keep it for 2.5 yrs when it still has some warranty left in it, then trade it in for something else. Good luck.
