Hi all,

My name is Michael and I'm currently living in Canberra. I've been looking for a simple first project to begin my car modifying journey! I don't have the skills yet to begin a full restoration however I've been looking for something relatively simple to continue to develop my skills on.

At at the moment I am looking into either mark 1 or 2 golf but I am still doing my research and getting my head around it all! There is certainly a huge wealth of information on here and it seems like a great community.

Ive vey been playing with 4wds for a few years now and decided it is time to expand my horizons. My uncle is huge into the air cooled side of veedubs and owns a 1600 and 2 buses so I guess I have him to thank for planting the vw seed.

The Mrs and I are hopefully also going to take delivery of a mk7 gti at the end of the year too, which I'm very stoked about!
