Hi and welcome. Make sure you drive both cars to see which you prefer better. Ive had 2x GTI's and 1x R and I prefer the feel of the GTI better. If you do get a GTI, try to get a GTI Performance with the limited slip differential as they are much better that the regular GTI.

Thanks mate, good to know. Overall I've come quite intereted in the idea of getting a wagon so that's why the R is probably the preferred vehicle at the moment
