    First time VW owner

    Drove a mates mk6 GTI and loved it. I then bought a Mk 5 TDI (more within my budget).
    My most recent drive was an NP Pajero 3.5 V6. Now at the wreckers (motor failed at 307,000KMS).
    I enjoy working on cars.
    Good to be part of this forum.

    You're gonna enjoy working on your TDI. Is it the 1.9PD or 2.0CR?

    Quite a bit of shove in the back from either engine. Plenty of tuning to do if that's your thing
