    Fire in the whole :-)

Need help, I had a Fuse holder start smoking after I turned my Internal front fan on to position 4 on the switch. The fuse holder melted and smoke was evident in that area. As I have only had the car a coupe of days, the switch may have been shorting out and a stronger fuse was installed. I will have to replace fuse holder and investigate the fan switch to fix problem.

QUESTION! Has anyone had experience in removing the instrument module (not the speedo Model) Vehicle 2006 T 5 Beach

Here's the photo of the damage - nasty. Damn lucky it didn't start a fire. The end fuse burned up, and also took out the one next to it (SRS/airbag).

We don't know what rating fuse was in the slot, because it totally burned up. From what I can tell, it should be a 30A green one for the auxiliary heater & a/c.

Anybody got any ideas what would cause this? We're going over the Kombi to see if the previous owner put in any "creative" wiring, but nothing that we can see so far.
