Tiguan 155TSI coding for RVC with module

    Hi out there,

Can anyone with a similar Tiguan fitted with, RNS510 nav head unit, OPS sensors and retro fit OEM 'highline' reversing camera with trajectory module in boot, send me a copy of their complete printed out codes as saved when using a cable. I have had Solitair set it up for me but still no camera, just a blank screen showing OPS on left and a space where the camera shot should be. It maybe that my module 5NO 907 441 A may be faulty. So before buying another I'd like to confirm the coding. HERE IS MINE: note 6C is not switched on (nor does it help) the low line camera is on in NAV

OK I have changed the cable, no difference, I bought a new trajectory box, still not working. I note the solitair did not turn on the 6c in the can bus. I have done that but still no picture from the camera. Here is the letter I ahve sent to the suppier of the trajectory box (they are both the same so in time I will have one for sale as well as the cable to anyone who can help out)
I have fitted this trajectory box to my 2011 VW Tiguan 155Tsi, with the genuine cable and a boot latch camera 5no 827566 c. I had previously added the VW RNS510 head unit part number 1TO 035 680 L, HW 1TO 035 680 D, component RNS-MID H61 5269with a non genuine mobile phone bluetooth kit. The vehicle has factory fitted reversing radar beep, that shows on the headunit screen. With the VCDS cable I have turned on 6c (back up camera) in the canbus 19, Vag No 7NO907 530 K, HW: 1KO 907 951. I have no image on the screen after rebooting the head unit. On scanning for errors my vehicle has a fault the can bus J533 gateway H40 1620 cannot communicate withe the trajectory box J772 gateway H40 1620. F fault found: 02873- control module for back up camera (J772), 004 - No signal/ communication. fault status: 01100120.
The radio 56 and Nav 37 have the same fault recorded,
Address 6c: back up cam. Cannot be reached.
Any ideas as to what the fault might be?
I have 12 volt power at the trajectory box, and approximately 4 and 8 volts on the can bus 'high' and can bus 'low' at the trajectory box so am confident that the wiring harness is connected.
Any help greatly appreciated as I doubt that the unit is faulty.

What pins are the 6c rvc module connected to at the canbus gateway?
Rvc connects to the infotainment bus.

I followed the colour coding of the wires coming out of the trajectory module cable and soldered them to the wires in the cable at the back of the head unit. This harness is the wiring addition to fit the bluetooth phone module between head unit and original vehicle harness. Power to cable (module) was red with blue trace to pin 15. can plus was orange with purple trace pin 9. can - was orange brown on pin 10. P.S. here is the response from the supplier "Hi! My friend, according to our technical staff analysis, your car model circuit is likely to have problems."

    You need actual wiring diagrams.
Hit me up on pm with year and model of your car

Infotainment pins at the canbus gateway are:
    Pin 10 can low
    Pin 20 can high

So you need to tap these wires and connect the 6c highline module can connections there.

Thanks for researching this for me. I am a little bit confused am I looking at the infotainment plug?
Here is the photo of the rear of the radio head. Pins 9 and 10 are labeled can high and low. There does not seem to be a pin 20

You can connect it there at the radio, or at the canbus gateway. The wires go between the two.

Three Cheers for Kamold, at last sorted.
I had added the can high, can low and taken the positve from the cable that has been inserted between the radio head and harness for the mobile phone bluetooth connection.
All I did was to remove those tap ins and redo them on the original car harness. A warning to those in the future - tap into the factory harness.
So I now have a spare harness and trajectory box 5NO 907 411 A, all you need is the camera to suit your VW, Passat etc.
    Greg
