I am due to receive my car in 2 weeks time and was wondering if I need to arrange a detailer...
IMO, better there isn't ... as usually there's something they're hiding underneath the ton of wax.

Obviously all in the hope that it remains undetected until you sign the papers and drive away.

Looks like the Oberon is in the English channel. When's your Tig scheduled for delivery?

I don't know any details of my Tig except it's supposed to arrive in Botany on the 13th June. I'm guessing mine might be on the Oberon too as the time marries up.

The NADCON screen shot has it arriving (ETA) 13th June in Brisbane. But according to the ship tracking website, that should now be the 7th June, and it hits Port Kembla on the 10th June.

Great. Thanks for that, it makes me more confident my car is on the Oberon. Time to confirm this with the dealer I think.

Hope the wait isn't too unbearable for you.

Well I'm wrong, again. My car is on the Morning Carol and arrives on the 27/5. More good news keeps rolling in as original delivery date was 25/8. Anyone else got a Tig coming off the Morning Carol?

When picking up your car make sure you get dealer to look up the security code for your radio/head unit.

Cause it's an absolute PITA to retrieve afterwards and probably costed me more in time and frustration than what it's worth!

For apparent security reasons, they do not provide or write this down anywhere in your owner's manual.

And dealers figure 99% of the time, owners will get by without the need for their codes. So they don't bother!

Another vital piece of information they've decided not to disclose!

Great piece of advice I'll add it to my list along with getting the nav disc? Do you have any other tips for people picking up their new Tig?
