Dashcam install on 2014 Tiguan 155tsi

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Blackvue dashcam with Blackvue Power Magic Pro box on a Tiguan 2014 or similar year, and if you have the location and fuse connections to use for constant and switched power? I've read some VWs and other euros have issues with the battery giving too low a voltage for the constant connection to use when the engine is off?

Fuses probably behind Glovebox as in the MK 2 Do you know how to use a multimeter????? Easy to find which are which. A PMP can be set from 12v UP Havent had any trouble in my VW 's until battery got old.

It might help , not sure but the 2017-20 fuses are top row always on 3rd row ACC Look in the manual as it has a listing of what is on which fuse Make sure you use these to connect and around the correct way.

The fuses on our 2010 Tig are behind the panel under the steering wheel.
I installed our Blackvue, took about 3 hrs.

Saved us once when a guy decided to pour paint stripper on the bonnet of three cars in an underground car park.
Camera had his face and the rear camera got his ergo.

Turned out to be an ice junkie who was bored.

Would help the OP if you posted which fuses you used then

Probably the same fuse box as a Polo that has it in same place

Thanks, if anyone has the easiest fuse box location and which exact fuses to piggy back for switched and constant power would be handy?

Have you got a multimeter Takes 5 mins to work out which ones are which Just remember some ACC ones take a couple of minutes to shut down.. IF you cant find the fuse box I suggest politely you get someone to install it for you
