Transmission dipstick

I have an automatic transmission and can't seem to find the transmission dipstick?

I didn't think they had one. Have you checked your manual?

I'm pretty sure the only way to check is to remove the top up plug on the side of the tranny. You fill it through the plug hole until the fluid starts to seep out the hole and this lets you know you're at the right level. Not really something you can do without a hoist and the proper tools though I would have though?

Not sure if it's right ... I was told by my dealer the Trans oil never get change!! Even the Haldex!!
No maintenance schedule in NA ... I'm still spectic!

Umm........................... the dealer is an idiot! I know for a fact that the Haldex fluid needs to be changed (can't remember at what interval 100k maybe?) and I'm sure a tranny fluid change would also be on the schedule somewhere.

NA maintenance schedule above. Note; tranny fluid and Haldex fluid change every 40k miles. DO NOT go back to that dealer.
