Kufatec Fiscon Plus with iPhone 5 pair problem

hi all

Does anybody try to pair the new iPhone 5 with Kufatec/Fiscon Plus on Tiguan, mine is not pairing, and iPhone 4 is still ok to pair (as it had paired before, so if iphone 4 turns on, it will pair automatically).

when I turned on Bluetooth on iPhone5, it discovered Kufatec alright but shows status as "not paired" instead of the normal name with a blue arrow icon so you can click the blue arrow to pair, if i clicked "not paired" and it tried to do sth in iphone with the circle thingy turning, and then returned error " make sure Kufatec Fiscon is turned on, in range , and is ready to pair", not quite sure if it is new bluetooth 4.0 on iPhone 5 is not compatible with Kufatec

Do you get to the point of entering in the 4 digit code?

You could also try resetting your Bluetooth unit if it already has max number of paired devices.

I'd also check on the audio section of the forum or if all else fails go to Kufatec for support.

Same problem here - RNS510 with Kufatech Fiscon and I'm getting the same error. Can't 'forget device' either on the iPhone and try again. Have you had any luck?

sorry to post it late, it is all fixed by resetting to Kufatec factory setting, this thing can only store up to 5 BT devices, 6th device can't register/pair, so just use MFD(the one on the dash board) control to reset Kufatec to factory setting, and re-pair up your old devices, old setting will be back after re-pair up. If you do not pair more than 4 devices, new device will be detected and pair up ok.
