    Skoda Fabia 2012 Alpine head unit install

    I've installed an Alpine ILX-702d head unit into my 2012 Skoda Fabia and have a lot of questions

    The unit comes with digital radio, but i don't have a digital radio antenna. I don't want to use the windscreen antenna as I want to keep a 'clean' look, so i want to replace my existing antenna with a digital capable one, part 6R0035501D. I've had a look at a few wreckers but I can only find the 6R0035501C, which doesn't include a digital antenna. Can anyone advise of which VW models will have the antenna I'm after? I'm trying to avoid paying $200 and getting one from Europe.

    Also, the fabia has a microphone that I think is connected to the MFD system. Is there any way I can hook this up to the head unit using a 3.5mm jack?

    • What models in Australia can i pull a DAB aerial off
    • Can I wire in the MFD Bluetooth microphone to my head unit
