i used a fair whack of double sided tape and stuck it up under the dash - getting a sweet GPS signal - i had no coding issues at all with mine, the install took me all of half an hour and it all came together wonderfully!!

The unit will still play DVD's while driving, just the video wont show on the screen. The video will appear again when you are stopped at a red light etc.Quote:

Actually, to my surprise - it plays DVDs while going!!! as my wife was watching a DVD while I was crusing along - very cool indeed!!
I think all units sold on eBay will have it activated for free, so to differentiate themselves from competitors.
But then it ends up being the norm, with every seller offering it!
