Hi guys,

Now that I have replaced my RCD510 with a RNS510 I've got a decision to make. The radio in my wife's Subaru Outback is pretty much dead, CD and Tape deck no longer work and there is no AUX capability, so I'm planning on installing something after market. My question is, could the RCD510 be installed, or does it have to many dependencies on the VW? I'm guessing things like bluetooth and MDI would be too hard to setup but thought I'd ask the question here before I do anything.

The other option is sell the RCD510 and buy something a little more "generic". What do you guys think?
