not to worry ill just copy last years cover and change the year
It is illegal to put the map on your unit and then sell the original Even if you have made a copy for yourself, which you can do provided you keep the original.
As per here
You’re only entitled to that single copy for as long as you own the original , however; it’s a big legal no-no to make a copy of any content and then sell or even give away the original copy. This is true for any content.
I guess this might be directed at me given that I declared that I would sell mine eventually. I will sell my v9 disc when v10 comes out, just as I will now sell the v8 disc I own as soon as I can.
BTW, if you were trying to create a link with the words "As per here" it didn't work.
Received this morning. Updated without issue.
Thanks,

Without taking the high ground, what you are doing is morally and ethically wrong.
While you have purchased a disk you do not own the disk's content, just a licence to use it. And you are bound by the conditions of the licence.
Why do we pay so much for something that can be easily copied, distributed on a $1.00 disk? Because the owners of the content try to recoup their losses through piracy...
Are you kidding? I am selling the older version to someone that might want it when I buy the newer version. I will be using version 9 and will have the licence rights to that because I hold the disc. You'll need to explain to me in great detail if you know that there is something wrong with that ethically and in law.
Got mine today. Installed easily.
