    Hmmm, so if recent form is anything to go by with VW winning world car of the year, it will be an unreliable, expensive, impossible to repair or re-sell piece of crap

    Isn't the Volkswagen Group the second largest motor manufacturing group in the world after General Motors? Including large shares of MAN and Scania. Who picks the "International expert jury" that has also smiled upon the Polo in the past?

    Yeah you're correct there, GM, VW & then Toyota isn't too far behind.
