Dom I love you and that car of yours, we can make sexual chocolate healing in the back at sedf ohh yeah
hey sunshine when you start and learn how to spell and write a sentence by yourself and without the help of adrian tickling your prostate, learn to speak kindly you don't get very far, cause you think you have spent cash on your car :troll:
Top **** as always mate guess I won't be getting 165 on my rims then.... haha get it low already I'd be embarrassed to drive around with that wheel gap, far more than worried about the safety of that wheels stretch.
:pat: seriously wtf? even the most rudimentary of set ups which is a bags over a standard struts will go lower than coils 99% of the time!? fair enough you can doubt he'll get it on rails but not lower than coils thats just plain silly and you obviously didn't "think" too much if you thought Bagyards (the bags his getting) wouldn't be lower than coils.
LOL to all!!
the fronts with the 165's are sweet az, i dont see any 'REAL" saftey issues with that kind of stretch on a 7.5, BUT that would be the biggest width id drive on, the tyre stretches perfect and beads up and seals on both ends of the lips, thereas the 8's... the tyres dont even touch the sides of the rims, they sit on the barrell.....
cheers for the comments guys, i seriously got 7 safe days as of today to finish my air ride stuff!!!

good to see some progress dom, the wheels really suit the car :)
my 2c though, if you're planning on going for the tucked look then such an extreme stretch isn't really required. IMO stretched tyres work best (and are only really necessary) on a poked setup. If you're going to have it tucked then I'd go for a moderate stretch just to make the tyres look nice on the rim. Once again, just my opinion and a bit of feedback.
Hope those flyers are getting planted all over town too!
hahah yeah those flyers were scattered a loong time ago, ive got like 2 left! haha
basically the whole thing for the wheels was to get the smallest diamater tyre i could find, that happened to be 165/40's :( and turned out i needed to stretch them on to make them fit :( i did initially want 185/35's but they dont have them in the country untill 4 months so thats out of the question, they also needed to NOT sit any further or flush with the rim lip coz if i was aired out, they will hit the guards, remember airbags could potentially tuck rim, so anything wider than rim with foul and i wont get as low as i desired...
205/40's look gay and are too tall for my liking! you gotta remember... its all about going as low as possible, once the cars dropped, you wont even see the tyres :D
