Perfect maximum score for my class and 4th overall.

Just need to go a bit faster to get into the top 3 next year.

Out to Phillip Island today for round 1 of the Victorian Supersprints.

The car hasn't run since November and I had a few issues with a dodgy spark plug which knocked me out for the first two rounds.

Got it sorted for rounds 3 and 4 but my driving was less than spectacular, I guess I'm just a bit out of practice.

Next event is the nationals combined with VSSC R2 at Winton in couple of weeks.

















Not my smoke, a Commodore went full James Bond in front of me.

Just back from Winton,

I returned home from the US on Friday morning, got a couple of hours sleep and the drove up to Winton for the 2 day event.

First time out on Winton with this car, was a kinda fun drive.

I could have done better, basically I took the wrong tyres, I should have ran the hoosier slicks instead of the 888's

My 888's have gone off now too, It's just occurred to me that these are now 5 years old.

Cost me a few seconds a lap. Best was only a 1:42. Cars I'm usually faster than were 3 seconds quicker on Hoosiers.

Nice work Pete, I love Winton. I managed a 1:45 on A050 first time out in my mk1 at Winton...fun track!

Last round of the season at Sandown was on Cup Day, here's a few shots.

I was playing about with a Samsung 360 VR Camera too.

Pictures aren't as good as GoPro but kind of cool being able to pan around inside the video.

Once the video is running click on the image and you can drag it around to change the point of view.







I'm still having ongoing issues getting the car to start reliably on e85, more tweaking required yet.

Once it stars it goes great, it's just nerve wracking at times if it's being moody about starting.
