Question Cordoba - Rear Wheel Bearings

    Hi,

Rear wheel sounds like its gunna break and fall off , So
I jacked her up and the wheel wobbled like anything ,
Took the wheel off then the cap, cotter pin , nut , washers etc. and
found the Bearing looked pretty stuffed,
How do you remove and replace the Bearing ?
And does anyone know what type of Bearing? and where do you get em.

    Thanks

    Griffo.

You have done most of the job mate.
You now need to bang out the outer race of the bearing from inside the drum. A screwdriver and hammer is fine and they give you a few notches to get at it through as well!

We sell the bearing kits at work for $40 each. They are German ones.

Easy to refit. Just use an appropriate sized socket to tap the outer race in.

They are actually the same as VW Golf, Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3

    Hope that helps.
