sub-scribed! Ahhhh, one can only dream for a widebody scirroco of one's own Without a DSG of course

DSG is faster - will be sticking to DSG's from now on - we have worked them out. Look at how clean that is with no gear lever - just the flappy paddles

Wow that is a great looking interior for a race car. Clean and functional.

Yeah, the budget on that must have been pretty big - the bodies are hand fabricated in steel as well.

    Holy blast from the past!

Anyway due to a nasty accident I had, the project got shelved for over 3 years, so as therapy I got it finished & we ran it a month ago in the WTAC. You will see it has evolved quite a bit since the start (excuse photobucket for killing the old pics).

It was its first run, so we used the event as a "test session" and completed almost 70 laps. Car has only >500km's on it from new - half that at this event. Its got good balance, its fast, cooling system works well, and has a lot of potential.

It is all built to WTAC Clubsprint rules, we were able to replicate the TCR setup in the Intercooler & Radiator - it works very well. Still DSG with Analogue shifter conversion to the AIM Paddle shift datalogging steering wheel. Anyway, more updates as we go.

What did you do with the original bits that came out of the car?
