That's exactly what I was thinking. I just think it's emphasizing the wank factor. It looks cool and seems like an awesome thing to do if you didn't have any grounding cables to begin with, but just to amp up what you've already got, eehhhh...

it adds aleast 20kw if you use fluorescent green on blue wires in a matching colour to the neons throughout the inside/underneath of the car
Grounding kits used to have noticeable effects on Subarus. Factory earthing wasn't very good so it was common practice to run earths from the 2 fuel injector banks, another from near the alternator & from the gearbox/starter motor. The difference was minor, yet noticeable, especially in the B4. In a VW... who knows?
