Bought myself a present. NOS parts go good!
That's pretty rad, look like a hella hecklebend.
Anyone know how hard it is to center my rear axle? I'm pretty sick of my left tyre being chewed up and my right being untouched. It's almost unnoticeable if it weren't for my left tyre being destroyed.
Also, I want a little more rear camber, I've read up on the washer idea? I'd only probably got 1 or 2? Or better to just buy shims? I'm just a little low on cash as I'm saving for Japan in March, but any help appreciated :)
Jack car up and support rear sills with jack stands. Be sure you use good stands and support where the little < arrows points down
Remove rear wheels.
You will see 3x17mm bolts per side where the rear beams mounts to the floor.
Undo bolts just a bit of both sides and with some help from a mate move beam left or right
Be careful no to move it backwards or forwards (This will angle the beam and feck your toe, ride drive its)
Take your time and be careful. Do the bolts up again and slap here down and ride with fat chicks!
On the washer question, go to bunnings buy yourself some washers. I don't like shims because they are plastic and can deform with the heat of the car, whereas shims are metal.
They'll both work the way you want, it's just a case of whether you want something with ajustablity.
Sweet, thanks for the help guys. I'll let you know how it goes when I get the chance :)
