Should look a fair bit more wild with these things in the engine bay too!

MK3: ADZ to AMK to BWS(R36!)

    In the spirit of lightness!

Hacked up the rear of the car.

Stripped out the interior and fitted up a sparco seat.

Myles coming in clutch again with a tubular rear beam

The rear beam is in aid to fit this lightweight rear brake kit. Totalling a whole 7KG for both sides.

And did a booster delete to finish up all the light weight things

And a coolerworx shifter to hopefully reduce the shifting dramas I was experiencing last time out.

Unfortunately I can’t justify spending 12k on a fibreglass front end to improve aerodynamics, so a sheet of conveniently colour matched aluminium will have to suffice.

Jesus Hayden I only just found this thread. Mental! ITB's are amazing even when they're sitting on a bench. Its going to sound brutal. Good work mate.

Got some time to get the rear beam finished off. I was sent the wrong wheel bearings so had to pause at the stage of getting it fitted up.

Quick scuff back and a coat of paint and it’s in. Wheelbase is extended by around 30mm, with ability to extend up to 70mm, provided the tyre clears the rear bumper.

Great thread, wow what a process and brilliant work. VR6 is a great donk, really like the cold air intake solution.

Photo above is a significant 'adding of lightness'.

Good luck with the rest of the journey.

    Cheers
