    i don't like the look of them at all. I've seen them on that red mk3 (BOK17 ??) and just think they ruin the back end. Each to their own i suppose but i think money could be well spent elsewhere on an mk3.

    On a different note its remarkable how expensive they are on ebay and Vortex, close to $250 shipped

    Not for everyone but definately something quite rare for the MK3's...

    I'd consider it if I had a great set of wheels, suspension, and an exhaust done first but otherwise I'd save the money. I don't mind the look of em but they are pretty damned expensive. Having said that those 90's parts like this and abt are pretty cool for a retro look..

    nope. don't think so. i wouldn't turn one down if i got it for free, but i'd never put it on my car. I'd find some sucker and turn a profit on it. lol
