    Not much to update.
Finally slapped the 312mm on the front.
Currently running green stuff pads with generic rotors but hoping to find some lighter rotors (prob 2 piece) to try and match the weight of the 288s I had on previously.

    Before and after

Not much happening in vento land.
A covid19 lock down or two ago waterboy and madglf3 came to help push the brake pedal and turn the brake bleeder nipples.
Rear bias backed off and supports under the beam

Brake pedal feel was the best I think it's been since I have had the car. Rolled it out ready for a shake down and pad bed in session, casual first to second gear change and no power...

Pushed the car back and couldn't spot or hear any problem, freaking out clutch or gearbox input I wanted to cry.

Went over some stuff, not much luck, about to give up and then noticed a tiny bit of day light showing through the drivers shaft.

    This was the result...

No idea why there was no rattling or banging or horrible sounds. Made me completely overlook driveshafts.
So much abuse, pot holes, hooning and driving at speed and then it lets go just rolling at walking pace.
Sourced a used oem shaft, going to give it a refresh and fingers crossed can hit the road.

Fitted up the new bootlid (desperate for a polish) and have a new bonnet waiting for a second set of hands to fit.. Some PDR on the roof and it'll be almost hail free

    Hey mate,
Sorry for slow reply. Missed this one.
ahhhh I dont think I have any spare motors anymore. Best bet would be the wreckers.
The regs can be had pretty cheap new on ebay etc, so I wouldnt muck around with a used one.

If its just the glass clamp in the reg thats let go you can easily repair it with some cable ties and a electrical butt connector, I have one like that in my car, usually last 12months or so before it busts again. Seems to always break mid drive back from a show for some reason so I end up repairing it road side.
if its the wheel or wire look at a replacement

Some wheels I've had stashed away forever coming out for a bit of a hot wheels vibe.

Thanks to the boys that got me the models! Thinking I'll paint one black to match my vento
