    Sold the plates Dylan8's Vento
Jake hooked me up with stock wheels and tyres, Cheers!
Was hoping my oz would arrive in time but they took a little longer than expected.
Lifted it up for 100mm, slapped the resonator back in. Back on the road.

Haven't driven the vento for 6 months other than to get roadworthy certificate.
Keen to get it set up right again, aligned and some wheels on.

Got my new (no hail damage) boot out, US tub and smoked tails ready to go

Finally got to drive the car again!!

New boot on, US spec tub, smoked tails went back in. Clear indicators front and dude, plus shades to replaced the full orange front.

Ever since I put the vr6 beam in the car I have had trouble taking the rear wheels off, seems the centre bore on the hub is like 1mm too big.
Saturday I finally had enough and couldn't get one of the TT wheels off no matter what I tried.

Ended up taking the whole stub axle off just to get the wheel off the car so I could belt the rotor rather than the wheel.
I had some 280mm rears hanging (thanks Alex!) so these went on to solve the clearance issue.

Wasn't prepared for this and had limited tools on me (was only planning on lowering the car) so likely will be pulling it all apart again soon for new bearings, new pads and new brake lines. Plus I want to play with the brake bias

Coils wound back down. I want to bring the front back down a touch more next time the wheels come off.

Little bit of a throw back to when oem+ was everything

Looks great dude! If you dont mind me asking...what exhaust setup are you running? I have a borla muffler and want to have a system custom built with a single resonator in the middle. Just unsure whether to go with 2.5" or 2.25 pipe. Car is stock apart from airbox mod

    Cheers!
It's been through a few stages. All free/stock parts except for the rear muffler which I had to get as both the stock ones I had orginally ended up with holes.
I'll do a nicer kit later. Will need to go up a size I think as it'll be moving more air in the future

    Orginally I had stock 2l (2.25"?)

    Then removed the resonator

Then deleted the suit case and swapped the rear muffler for some generic straight through muffler.

Then guttered the cat (only to try and resolve oil temp issues)

Now it has a factory resonator back in. From memory all stock size (2.25"?) except for the twin exits.

It sounds pretty gross down low. But few people have said it sounded alright at full noise before I put the res back in

Nice! Throw a vid up once you get the new setup on. You can never hear enough of the noise haha

    Cheeeers!

Was getting dark but grabbed some slightly better pics.
Desperately needs a wheel alignment but steering feels better already
